Originally from Naidupet in Andhra Pradesh, Nithya rises through the police ranks to become an Additional Superintendent of Police with the CBI, working alongside Interpol.
Her latest assignment? Operation OM, an investigation into the dangerous world of illegal red sandalwood smuggling.
The character glimpse hints at an intense confrontation between Nithya and the criminal network at the centre of the film, with Dhanush’s character also drawn into the conflict.
