The Lincoln Centre in New York City saw Mary J Blige clad in a Gucci gown for the FiFi awards held there.

Mary J Blige was the picture of elegance in the champagne colored sequinned Gucci gown. The gown fit her like second skin and clung to the right places.
The singer matched her accessories, which were all in gold. The danglers added to the elegance but the corsage styled bracelet is too strong and took away from the dress. However, her clutch provided a good balance between the color of her gown and the accessories.

Mary J Blige tied her hair into an elegant bun, which gave an impression of the classic “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” hairdo, though the bangs could have looked better side swept.

The makeup was focussed on her eyes, which in turn were played up with artfully applied kohl and a nice dab of copper & gold shimmery eye shadow, especially in the inner creases of the upper eyelid. Her lips were kept simple in nude gloss. What was really interesting was the way Mary J Blige added color to the monochromatic tone with her coral nails.
On the whole, the “Just Fine” singer looked like the name of the song itself – Just Fine!
