The evergreen Kate Winslet has always managed to wow her fans and the fashion police. In her illustrious career, Kate has rarely been flogged for her poor fashion sense and it was easy to see why.

At last night’s Yo Dona Magazine International Awards 2011 in Madrid, Spain, Kate not only received an award for her exemplary humanitarian work, but also managed to turn all the heads with her fashionable sense of style.
Kate Winslet was dressed in a Victoria Beckham creation from her Fall 2009 collection. The floor length gown in black had padded shoulders, long sleeves and a boat neck. The waist had metallic embellishment detailing in dull gold. Needless to say, the body skimming gown did wonders to Kate’s curves.
Kate carried a Judith Leiber gold and black crystallized clutch, in keeping with the colour theme of her main gown. She wore Christian Louboutin heels. Her gold drop, shoulder sweeping earrings from Tiffany’s added to her oomph factor.
Kate tied her golden blonde hair in a voluminous pony, bringing the focus on to her beautiful face. Her face was done up immaculately with only a slight shade of pink on her lips. Kate had done up her eyes to have the smoky effect, which did justice to her otherwise simple yet elegant make up.
A winner all the way – Kate Winslet’s look will go down very well with all the fashion critics.
