27 is too young an age to die, and we all are definitely going to miss Amy Winehouse and her immense talent. Personal problems aside, no one can contest her contribution to music.

Yes, agreed there are a lot of musicians who are extremely stylish but how many of them have that one image that you can relate to? Elvis had his trademark pompadour and Michael Jackson had his Fedora and gloves. Can you think of many musicians who have a trademark style? And, that is what made Amy Winehouse – Amy Winehouse. In today’s world, where a singer changes his or her look with every release or public appearance, Amy Winehouse was loyal to her Beehive hair and cat eyes – and that was her statement, and what a defining statement it was. The look started a mini revolution of its own in the fashion world, with girls everywhere trying to copy the Amy Winehouse “eyes” – and that’s what makes a legend.
The world will continue to celebrate your music and iconic style statement Amy. You lived a very short life, but we hope you have found peace wherever you are.
