As one of TV’s biggest reality shows came to the end of another successful season on December 22, there was plenty to talk about and see and do as emotions ran high and winners were announced. X Factor judge Nicole Scherzinger knew she’d have to pull out the stops with her look if she wanted to get any attention at the show’s season finale. And pull out the stops she did in a sparkly full-length metallic gown.
The patterned metallic gown had a sheer overlay on the skirt which gave it a bit of an ethereal feel. The Pussycat Dolls singer wore a white flowery neck piece that hung down the back and also accentuated the neckline of the dress.
Her long dangle hoop earrings and red nails were the perfect complements to this gorgeous outfit.
The 33-year-old completed her ensemble with cat’s eye makeup, and hues of peach on her cheeks and lips. Her long black hair was parted in the middle and loose curls cascaded down her shoulders. Not something that is recommended for metallic gowns but she pulls it off.
Get The Look
A metallic gown immediately puts you on the map of any event. Leave your hair loose like Nicole only if you have awesome tresses. Otherwise, it’s best to pull you hair away from your face into a simple do so that the dress can shine in all its glory. Make sure your hairdo is not too complicated or it will steal the attention from the dress.
A metallic gown is best reserved for the night. It will look too jazzy and pretentious if worn during the day.
