Actress Eva Longoria was sexy in black at the 2012 Black and White Ball in Aria Resort & Casino at City Center in Las Vegas, Nevada on January 28 where she was honored as the Woman of the Year by the Nevada Ballet Theatre.
The Desperate Housewives star wore a Monique Lhuillier full-length black gown. The sleeveless number had slit on the front over a criss-cross leather pattern which revealed paneled lace cutouts on the side of the waist. The skirt of the dress flowed smoothly and trailed along behind her. A black clutch and simple stud earrings were her only accessories.
Eva painted her nails a yummy shade of mocha brown. Her dark mascaraed eyes were the highlight of her face, accentuated by the barely-there peach lipstick and a close to natural shade of peach blush. Her soft, smooth hair really tied this look together. Her luxurious brown tresses were side parted and gently swept to one side, giving her ensemble the perfect finish.

Wearing your hair up would give this type of dress a more polished and sophisticated feel. Try a dramatic lip color like red or burgundy to add a touch of sensuousness to your persona. Red or burgundy paired with black is a classic combination which never fails.
