Titanic starring Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio is one of the greatest movies ever made. So when it makes its debut in 3D, it’s pretty exciting. Titanic in 3D premiered at Royal Albert Hall, Kensington in London on March 27.
While the male protagonist was conspicuously absent, Kate Winslet was resplendent at the high-profile event. There were a host of other A-listers who showed up to get in on the action. As you can imagine, the red carpet was flooded with beauties in a range of styles that took our breath away.
The star of the epic movie looked regal as she walked down the red carpet in a floor-sweeping black gown by Jenny Packham. It featured a plunging neckline, Swarovski crystal embellishments on the cap sleeves and diamond detailing on the pinched-in waist – all amounting to a gorgeous picture.
The gown was accessorized with diamond jewelery from Goode & Son and black peep-toe heels.
Kate kept her makeup quite simple, opting only for a slash of red lipstick while her elegant vintage-style updo gave this old Hollywood ensemble the perfect finishing touch.
Jenna-Louise Coleman wore a strapless full length gown with a black bustier and a grey skirt that fell gracefully to the floor. The simplicity and elegance of the dress is undeniable. Unfortunately for her, her near wardrobe malfunction stole the attention away from the lovely gown and folks totally forgot about it. She did her hair in a relaxed updo that softened her features.
Caggie Dunlop was the only one who seemed to remember that spring is here. She wowed us in her floral maxi dress with spaghetti straps. We love how her hair looks well-groomed but still has a hint of a mess about it. A show stealer from top to toe.
Gemma Chan went with an elegant summery look, She wore a sleeveless short white dress, accessorizing it with nude ankle cuff heels and a black handbag with a gold chain. Velvet black hair swept over one shoulder and red lips completed her red carpet ensemble.
Charlotte Spencer donned a very sexy, knee-length black lace dress with a rockstar-chick feel. Her hair was done up in a very casual do which made her look even more heart-breakingly beautiful.
Veteran actress Frances Fisher went with a high-waisted steel grey gown with a floor-sweeping black coat. She accessorized the outfit with a black handbag and vintage jewelery. The color of the dress did wonders in making her red hair stand out. She knew this, of course, so she left her glorious tresses loose with her fringes brushed casually down the front.
