We seem to feature Pippa Middleton more often than her royal sister when it comes to fashion. Taking another walk in South Kensington London yesterday, Pippa once more managed to look very stylish as she braved falling temperatures.
The 28-year-old donned a grey wool jacket over a short black dress. She wore black stockings to keep her warm. But her most striking accessory to help stave off the cold was an animal print stole which she casually draped around her neck. That was the piece de resistance which really brought the outfit together.
Black leather boots, a black leather bag, black sunglasses, and stud earrings completed her simple yet timeless ensemble. She wore natural makeup, and her long brown hair was simply side parted and left loose.

One thing you have to agree about Pippa – she is one smart shopper. The boots, bag, and sunglasses that she is wearing in these pics are the same ones she wore just two days ago. Smart dressers buy accessories that can be worn over and over, and which look good with a variety of outfits. Her look the other day was more casual, while this one is a tad formal. But the accessories blended right in as if they were made for the outfit.
So when you’re making a purchase for your wardrobe – especially if your finances are limited – shop smart. Before you buy it, think about how you dress everyday, how often you will be able to successfully use the bag or boots in your attire. When you are buying something that you know will go with plenty of outfits and looks, make sure to invest a little more than you normally would so you get quality stuff that lasts longer. This may cause you more at the moment, but the returns in the long run will be well worth it.
