Actress/model Nina Dobrev wowed us with her whole ensemble at the Saban Theater in Beverly Hills, California on March 10 where PaleFest 2012 was screening “The Vampire Diaries”. What we loved most about her at the event was her classy hairstyle.
The 23-year-old brunette beauty wore her hair in a very elegant side-swept chignon. The hair- do had a slightly messy feel to it that gave her the look of the girl next door but at the same time was chic, feminine and refined. The texture of her hair had a visible softness to it which made her look effortlessly beautiful.
Nina’s uber sophisticated hairstyle wonderfully complements her ensemble – a not-so-basic little black dress by Rachel Zoe, strappy animal-print heels by Jimmy Choos and a blue fling clutch by Rebecca Minkoff.
Creating a side chignon is not tougher than making a regular one. Just gather your hair into a low ponytail at the nape of your neck with your fingers and pull hair over to the side you prefer the chignon to be on. Pin into place and go ahead with doing your hair up in the steps of a regular chignon.
