After a year of perfecting it, Alexandra Leclerc has launched her own limited edition Pocket Pearl collection with Rhode, and this one feels much more personal than a standard beauty collaboration.

Rhode officially describes the drop as an exclusive collection designed with Leclerc, while Alexandra herself called it “my own pocket pearl collection” in her Instagram announcement. That distinction matters. She is not simply fronting the campaign. She has been closely involved in shaping the collection itself.

Pocket Blush Gets a Tiny, Shimmery Makeover

The hero of the collection is Pocket Pearl, a miniature version of Rhode’s Pocket Blush formula reworked with a reflective, shimmery finish. The tiny format is designed to slip easily into a small bag, but the idea goes beyond portability. It can also be clipped onto the specially designed Flutter Charm or Rhode Carabiner, turning a makeup product into something closer to a fashion accessory.

The blush comes in three new shades: Gemini, a shimmery candy pink; Monet, a shimmery apricot; and Monaco, a shimmery terracotta. The finish gives the cheeks a sheer wash of colour with more light and sparkle than the original Pocket Blush.

Sweet Apple Adds the Lip Moment

The collection also includes a new Peptide Lip Tint in Sweet Apple, a sheer but buildable shimmery golden brown with a tart apple candy scent. It is designed to pair with the Pocket Pearl shades, keeping the overall beauty mood glossy, warm and easy rather than overly done.

That balance feels very Rhode. The products are playful, but the finish still fits the brand’s clean, polished beauty language.

Beauty That Doubles as an Accessory

The most interesting part of the collection is how deliberately it blurs the line between makeup and styling. The Flutter Charm, a tiny butterfly designed with Leclerc, can attach to Pocket Pearl, while the Rhode Carabiner lets the blush clip onto a bag or keyring.

It is a smart extension of the beauty accessory trend. The product is no longer something hidden inside your bag. It becomes part of the bag itself.

A Collaboration That Feels Personal

What gives this launch more weight is Alexandra’s involvement over time. Her own post makes clear that the collection has been in development for roughly a year, which gives the final drop a sense of authorship rather than borrowed celebrity visibility.

The Rhode x Alexandra Leclerc collection launches September 15 at 9 a.m. PT.
