Academy award winner Michael Douglas, who has been battling stage four throat cancer, will complete his treatment this week.
A statement from his publicist, Allan Burry reads that Douglas will take at least six weeks of to recover.
The actor has been undergoing radiation and chemotherapy and is reportedly responding well to the treatment.
Douglas, in a recent interview, had talked about how cancer treatment really knocks you down. He added that he was determined to beat his disease.
