The 10th Annual Visual Effects Society Awards were held on February 7 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California. Allison Miller graced the star-studded event in a calf-length animal print frock.
The full-sleeved blue and grey animal print dress was peppered with gold sequins. The colors go beautifully with her skin tone. But while the dress is quite pretty, it could have used a belt to break the monotony and to give it a little oomph.
Allison accessorized with black pumps, stud earrings and a unique gold ring which featured three large semi-precious stones off-setting four tiny diamonds. In this closeup, you can see her delightful indigo nail polish which matches the dress.
Her makeup and hair are the most lovely part of her ensemble – apart from that ring, of course. Allison’s brown hair was side parted and pulled back in a relaxed low updo, wisps left free of the tied hair dreamily brushing the sides of her face. She wore dark eye makeup and coral lipstick – both of which made her appear very striking.
Animal prints are huge on the red carpet in 2012. Check out Holly Madison in her sexy leopard print gown a couple of weeks ago. Jordin Sparks poured her slim new figure into a figure-hugging leopard print mini dress last month. Even fashion-forward Kim Kardashian rocked a leopard print jumpsuit, accessorizing with a belt and leaving her hair loose and wild to capture the animal spirit of her outfit.
