Black and White monochromatic prints

Black and white monochrome is an evergreen, timeless, classy, elegant, sophisticated and a heart winning combination.

The color scheme gels well with people of all skin tone and body types. With a wise interplay of these two colors as well as print pattern, a desiring body shape can be created. Almost all prints, designs, fabrics and garments can be monochromes of black and white.

A black and white monochromatic color scheme is heart winning when it comes to your elegant evening dresses, prom dresses, swimwear, formal as well as other casual wear.

The color scheme is never boring, tedious and uninteresting. The fun element is always there. The color scheme is quite feminine and can be made more by adding interesting details like frills, ruffles, bows, flowers, rose trimmings, butterflies etc. The silhouette is also made interesting with the help of drape and free flowing fabrics done in layers as well.


Black and white monochromatic prints:

The color scheme can be combined into various ways to project very interesting and novel prints and patterns. There are a few timeless and popular prints that are quite popular.


Polka dots:

Polka dots are as evergreen as the color scheme itself. Imagine the two timeless aspects combining together into a single item. The combination can we worn to the dressiest of parties for the elegant look. A simple and elegant item like a shirt or skirt can be worn at workplace. And your favorite and easy to wear casual wear can always be a black and white monochrome done in polka dots.


Tribal prints:


Tribal prints make for a high fashion statement in the recent years. The culture and symbols of the nomadic tribal and pastoral fourth world is gaining popularity in the fashion world as well. Motifs, paisleys, ikat, animal forms, symbols, bows, arrows, spears, birds, dears etc are all reminiscent of tribal prints that can be very beautifully incorporated into black and white monochromes. They make for a perfect casual wear. Tie and dye technique also scores.

The boundary between the nautical and black and white monochromatic color scheme is blurring. Except for the bold ad authoritarian details and blue white or red white color scheme rest every aspect remains the same between the two.

Stripes are timeless, popular and varied in shape and sizes. Various novel ways of combining different stripes of different width together are sorted out to project some very novel and interesting items. Black and white stripes are bold and adorable. Finer stripes are your formal wear whereas wider ones are your informal casual ones.

The pattern makes for a great little dress as well as jackets, skirts, trousers, etc. Finer chess board patterns are elegant and make for an excellent formal wear too. Broader chess board prints are more of casual wear.

Flowers in black and white are as interesting as the colored ones. They are equally fresh and lively. Flowers; both real and abstract spread like a foliage to make for beautiful elegant and chic frocks, shirts, skirts as well as your dressy garments and evening gowns. Roses are timeless classics.


Appliqués:

Black and white appliqués are quite popular and catchy. They are done into remarkable patterns and designs to produce timeless rich and elegant pieces. The finer and delicate ones make for a beautiful evening wear.

Geometrical prints:

They are the most playful patterns. The prints are many and so is the interplay of many of these done altogether into one. They make for a very chic casual wear and can be aptly incorporated into your swim wears, frocks, jackets, skirts etc. The feel is international and the look is quite modern yet timeless.

Abstract prints:

The abstract can be conceived by the mind and presented well through the monochromatic color scheme of black and white. The abstract is boundless and follows no rules. Wear them to your casual outing, journey etc. Keep the simple ones reserved for your less formal wears.

Animal prints:

They are hot, happening, chic and modern. They are wild, bold yet feminine. Wear black and white monochromatic pieces to the parties or your workplace. Prints like zebra, crocodile, reptile, deer, tiger etc are quite popular.
