After all the braided hairstyles we saw flooding the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival earlier this year, we were pretty sure that we’d soon see some version of a braided do on the ramp, setting the trend for the season. We weren’t wrong.

The models walked the ramp sporting multiple braids, two pigtails on each side of the head – sometimes three, stemming from a center parting. Some of the braids started from the back while some began on the front like a headband. The braids were finished off with simple elastic bands, nothing fancy to make the look too busy.
