Alessandra Ambrosio brought a rich golden glow to the BrazilFoundation New York Gala 2026, held on September 17 at The Plaza Hotel in New York.
The Brazilian supermodel wore a Roberto Cavalli gown from Fausto Puglisi’s Spring/Summer 2026 “Gold Obsession” collection, choosing a look that felt perfectly suited to the evening.
The metallic plissé gown featured a plunging halter neckline with a sheer illusion panel through the bodice. From there, the pleated fabric fell into a long fluid skirt with a sweeping train, creating movement without making the silhouette feel overly dramatic.
The gold tone gave the entire look an immediate sense of warmth and glamour.
A Clean, Tonal Styling Approach
Stylist Kristina Askerova kept the accessories within the same elegant palette.
Ambrosio wore gold open toe heels and vintage diamond jewellery from Saidian Vintage Jewels, including an 18 karat yellow gold swirl necklace and matching drop earrings.
The jewellery added shine, but the gown remained the clear focal point.
Soft Beauty Against a High Impact Dress
Her beauty look stayed relaxed and polished.
Ambrosio wore her brunette hair in loose waves with a centre part, while luminous skin, softly defined eyes and a glossy rose toned lip balanced the strength of the metallic dress.

The appearance carried extra significance for Ambrosio, who was honoured with the Philanthropy Leadership Awardfor her long standing relationship with BrazilFoundation and her support of social initiatives in Brazil.
She has worked with the organisation for more than 15 years, including through the Brazilian Soul Fund, which has raised around $340,000 for nonprofit projects.
The result was a look that felt glamorous without losing sight of the importance of the occasion.
