Lady Gaga is adding another title to her already impressive résumé, and this one comes with a corner office!
The Grammy-winning singer, actress and beauty entrepreneur has officially stepped into the role of Chief Executive Officer of Haus Labs, the cosmetics company she co-founded in 2019.
The appointment, effective immediately, marks a significant new chapter for the brand as Gaga takes direct responsibility for its business operations alongside the creative and product development work she has overseen since its inception.
From Beauty Founder to CEO
The leadership change follows the departure of Haus Labs co-founder and longtime CEO Ben Jones, who exited the company earlier in October 2026.
Speaking exclusively to The Business of Beauty, Gaga expressed pride in what the pair had accomplished together and enthusiasm about becoming more involved in the company’s future.
“I have a lot of vision for this brand, and we have so much more we want to do,” she said.
Jones also shared his confidence in Gaga’s leadership, describing their original ambition as creating a beauty company with lasting appeal.
For Gaga, the new position represents a natural progression from being the creative force behind Haus Labs to overseeing its wider commercial strategy.
How Haus Labs Became a Serious Beauty Contender
Haus Labs first entered the cosmetics market in 2019 under the name Haus Laboratories, launching exclusively through Amazon.
But the brand’s defining transformation came in 2022, when Gaga and Jones completely reimagined its identity.
The relaunch introduced a new product range, a stronger emphasis on skincare-infused makeup and a retail partnership with Sephora.
That shift helped establish Haus Labs beyond the crowded celebrity beauty market.
Its Triclone Skin Tech Foundation became a standout success, earning a place among Sephora’s bestselling foundations, while products such as the Color Fuse Blush and Bio-Radiant Highlighter strengthened the brand’s reputation for high-performance formulas.
The company subsequently expanded internationally, bringing its products to beauty shoppers across Europe.
What’s Next for Haus Labs?
Gaga’s appointment arrives at an interesting moment for celebrity-founded beauty companies, where star power alone is no longer enough to guarantee long-term success.
Consumers increasingly expect innovative formulas, consistent product quality and brands with identities that extend beyond their famous founders.
Haus Labs has already spent several years working toward that distinction, combining Gaga’s experimental approach to makeup with a more refined, science-focused product philosophy.
Now, with Gaga taking charge of both the creative vision and the business itself, the brand enters its next phase under the person who inspired it.
From reinventing pop music to building a global beauty business, Lady Gaga clearly isn’t interested in limiting herself to one industry.
Mother Monster is officially the boss, and Haus Labs has a whole new era ahead.
