Donatella Versace is stepping back into a major creative leadership role, this time with a completely new business.
The designer has announced a joint venture with Revolve Group that will span beauty and fashion, with Versace taking on the role of Chief Creative Officer. The name of the new brand has not yet been revealed, but its first launch will begin in beauty, with products and further details expected in the coming months.
The venture is being positioned as an independent project shaped around Versace’s own creative vision rather than an extension of the house that carries her family name.
A Fresh Start After Versace

The move marks an important new chapter for Donatella, who stepped down as chief creative officer of Versace in March 2025 after nearly three decades leading the house following the death of her brother Gianni Versace. She later became chief brand ambassador.
With Revolve, she now has the opportunity to build something from the ground up.
Versace has said the project will be aimed at a new generation and will draw inspiration from fashion, music, film and art. Beyond product, she will shape the brand’s identity, collaborations and wider cultural world.
Why Revolve Makes Sense
Revolve brings a very different kind of infrastructure to the partnership.
The Los Angeles based company has built its business around digital commerce, data, influencer marketing and a strong Millennial and Gen Z customer base. Its platforms currently carry more than 1,400 brands across fashion, beauty and lifestyle categories.
That gives Versace access to a younger, highly digital audience while allowing Revolve to work with one of fashion’s most recognisable creative figures.
The venture is expected to launch across the United States, Latin America, Asia Pacific and the Middle East, with the first products planned for 2027.
For now, the name, exact beauty category and visual identity remain under wraps.
