Rihanna’s J’adore era is becoming richer, warmer and far more intense.

The singer and beauty entrepreneur returns as the face of Dior J’adore Intense, a new interpretation of the house’s iconic fragrance created by Francis Kurkdjian, Perfume Creative Director for Parfums Dior. The campaign continues the visual world first established with Rihanna at Versailles, but this time the mood feels softer, more sensual and deeply saturated in gold.

Gold Becomes Part of the Story

The latest images keep Rihanna firmly inside the J’adore universe.

She appears with long, softly waved blonde hair and luminous skin, wearing a sculptural gold beaded choker with matching cuffs. The beauty look is deliberately restrained, with softly defined eyes and a nude glossy lip, allowing the metallic styling to do most of the talking.

Another image shows Rihanna from behind in a shimmering gold gown inside the Hall of Mirrors at Versailles, connecting her silhouette directly with the opulence of the setting.

The effect feels less like a traditional perfume portrait and more like a continuation of Dior’s idea of Rihanna as a modern J’adore muse.

The Fragrance Is Warmer and More Lush

J’adore Intense pushes the familiar floral character into a richer direction.

The fragrance is built around jasmine, rose and ylang-ylang, with the jasmine taking on apricot-like facets. Vanilla and woody notes add warmth and depth, giving the composition a more honeyed, enveloping finish. Kurkdjian has described the scent as a colourful floral nectar designed to make the flowers feel fuller and more intense.

Even the Bottle Has Changed

The signature J’adore amphora remains instantly recognisable, but Dior has reduced the amount of glass used in the redesigned Intense bottle. According to the house, the change cuts carbon emissions linked to production and transportation by around 38 percent compared with the previous 100 ml J’adore Eau de Parfum bottle.

Rihanna first became the face of J’adore in 2024, with Steven Klein photographing her Versailles campaign. This new chapter feels more intimate, but still completely rooted in the same language of gold, confidence and modern femininity.
