Christmas has arrived early at Miu Miu, and it’s looking wonderfully eccentric!
The Italian fashion house has unveiled its Holiday 2026 campaign, An Uptown Fairytale, starring Gigi Hadid alongside Crystal Fish, Louisa Jacobson, Xiao Wen Ju, Georgia Martin, Momo and Nyla Singleton.

Photographed by celebrated American photographer Tina Barney, the campaign takes us inside a grand townhouse filled with antique furniture, polished wooden interiors, beautifully decorated Christmas trees and just the right amount of old-world glamour.
But this is Miu Miu, so naturally, there’s a playful twist!
Gigi Hadid Serves Festive Fashion with a Quirky Edge
Gigi Hadid embraces two very different fashion personalities in the campaign.

In one photograph, she channels a slightly nerdy, uptown schoolgirl aesthetic in an oversized grey tailored suit layered over a pale blue shirt and cropped brown sweater vest. Large spectacles complete the look, while a fluffy white toy rabbit adds an unexpected touch of whimsy.

Her second outfit takes a more glamorous turn with a sparkling pale pink mini dress, worn beneath a relaxed black hooded jacket. A structured pink handbag completes the ensemble.

It’s that deliberate clash between polished and playful, sophisticated and slightly awkward, that makes the styling so distinctly Miu Miu.
A Holiday Wardrobe That Breaks the Rules
Under the creative direction of Miuccia Prada, the collection explores the contrast between traditional elegance and youthful irreverence.

Embroidered silk dresses sit alongside oversized tailoring, country-inspired flannels and upcycled knitwear. Sequined bralettes are paired with practical cotton separates, while leopard-print shearling jackets are thrown over delicate satin slip dresses.
Accessories are equally important. Classic loafers and ballet flats anchor the looks, while the brand’s Beau, Vivant, Arcadie and Wander handbags bring luxurious textures and festive pops of colour.

The styling, by Lotta Volkova, feels intentionally unconventional, almost as though everyone has raided different generations of the family wardrobe before gathering for Christmas.
And then there are the stuffed animals!

Models pose with plush rabbits, bears and geese, treating them like treasured little companions. It’s an amusing detail that prevents the otherwise elegant setting from feeling too serious.
A Fashion Fairytale with a Sense of Humour
Tina Barney’s photography gives the campaign the atmosphere of an intimate family gathering, where every room tells a story and every carefully arranged detail feels slightly theatrical.
An accompanying short film directed by Emilie Blichfeldt brings this unusual festive world to life, adding a little mischief to the beautifully composed scenes.

Rather than presenting Christmas as a perfectly polished fantasy, Miu Miu celebrates the charming contradictions of holiday dressing.

The result is nostalgic, luxurious and wonderfully unpredictable.
And with Gigi Hadid looking equally at home in oversized tailoring and sparkling partywear, Miu Miu has just made a convincing case for mixing your Christmas best with whatever makes you smile!
