For all those who really dread the rain because it prevents you from looking your best, from wearing the best, and from feeling the best can now shed-off all their apprehensions and misapprehension about the rain showers. They have to no longer compromise with the rain when it is a question of adorning themselves with what they want to.
 
The fashion world has come up with more to pile your wardrobe with electrifying, bright, colorful, playful dresses and accessories. All you have to do is to take out some time and shop to your full to make your rainy season bright, cheerful and playful.
 
You no longer have to wear dull, old fashioned , boring clothes. But you can now dress into something meant exclusively for this season and have a splash in the rain. Just wear the right things and be a trendy glamorous chick.
 
Go in for knee-length skirts or short shirt-dresses. They suit almost all body shapes and sizes. Short flare skirts that fall up to the knees can be apt for the season.
 
Wear natural fabrics like cotton and linen. They dry easily and are easy to wash.
 
Blended cotton and poly-nylon are an ideal one for this season. Fabrics like blended cotton and poly-nylon also dry easily and do not crush.

Jersey material dresses are also most sought after. Wear dark shades. By doing so you will save your dress from getting mud-spots. Shades of grey, black, beige, brown and khaki are an all time favorite.
 
Wear cotton leggings. Go for the ones that are made of lighter materials.

Go trendy and colorful with bright colors like fuchsia pink, blue, green etc. Pastel shades like orange, pink, green are also a favorite among masses.

Avoid wearing your leather clothing.
 
Avoid ankle-length skirts and trousers.
 
Avoid layers. They can become very uncomfortable in rainy season. It does not dry easily once you get drenched in rain.
 
Chiffon and crepe should also be avoided as they tend to lose their sheen once they are wet.
 
Avoid wearing silk. Silk is a delicate material and needs high maintenance.
 
Long dressy skirts are not meant for the season. Do not wear long, dressy skirts and dress while it is raining.
 
Avoid wearing denims as they are not the right material to be worn during monsoon.

Leather handbags are not the suitable ones to be carried out in the rain as they are prone fungus and bacteria when moist. However, you can go for patent leather that can still endure a bit of moisture.
 
While choosing a handbag, pick the ones that are waterproof and help you keep your belongings safe.

Clean them well before airing.
 
Avoid direct exposure to sunlight and heat on them.

Save your things from rodents too.
 
Pack them and store in a cool, dry place.
