Wendell Rodricks with his keen sense of color presented “Fash Splash” at the Blender’s Pride Fashion Tour 2012. In his own words he was inspired by the new packaing of Blender’s Pride – a medley of mysterious black and subtle goal.

Looking at the collection, it was clear that en route Rodricks took a more colorful take on the black and gold with the festive season nearing. He introduced a plethora of psychedelic colors like chilli red, glow yellow, hot pink and neon orange so much so that the collection seemed the epitome of uber-cool. It seemed that way due to a line-up of versatile pieces that could slip easily from beach to red carpet, from lounge to premium wear.

There were his share of black tunics and blouses highlighted with colors, and we couldn’t applaud the chosen silhouettes more. The sleeves flared a bit with colorful stripes and so did a blouse just below the waist paired up with a more fitted pants.

The maxis were fluid and full of color and color blocking was seen in a fresh way on them. A particular red number with black accents, styles with cutaway neckline and strong shoulders as worn by Carol Gracias was our favorite.

For the Men Wendell advocated deep V neckline half sleeves kurta in hot pink styled with long hair and stubble.

The models sported small scarves tied around their necks in pop colors. The footwear showcased was equally bright too making it a bold, chic and happy collection.
