With Raksha Bandhan just around the corner, logistics experts FedEx have come together with Cafe Coffee Day to bring out a short-term campaign to deliver rakhis across India and anywhere in the world too for those sisters whose brothers live away from them. Bollywood actress Mandira Bedi launched this rakhi delivery offer in Mumbai, India on 12th August.
FedEx will ship rakhis to 880 Indian destinations for a flat rate of Rs. 200 and to over 200 countries for a flat rate of Rs. 1500. This rate includes the cost of the rakhi itself, a little card to go with it, and the envelope they both will be shipped in. What’s more, all those who send rakhis through this special delivery service stand a chance to win a trip to wherever their brothers are.

Mandira was more than happy to lend her name to the offer. She was all smiles at the event as she posed with a sample of the rakhis that will be sent out and a placard detailing the offer terms and conditions.

Her ensemble matched her ebullient mood. She positively glowed in a bright fuchsia sari with a festive gold border. A simple sleeveless black blouse was just the right accompaniment for the sari, adding a quiet elegance to her ensemble. The blouse was a bit of a surprise since we know how much she loves her spaghetti straps! But a good call on the style.
