Bollywood actress of French origin, Kalki Koechlin recently walked the ramp for mother daughter designer duo Neeta and Nishka Lulla at the Blenders Pride Fashion Tour 2013 in Mumbai.

The designs were reminiscent of the 1920s and 1930s and Ms Koechlin looked quite the flapper girl in her outfit. She wore a layered gown in almond color. The top part of the outfit featured silver work whereas the lower part was kept simple and flowy. Her feet were encased in golden sandals with block heels.

The pretty lady’s hair was done up in bouncy flapper curls and pinned on the side with two hair clips. The makeup too kept with the theme and featured red lips on a stark face. Ms Koechlin looked demure yet flirty during her walk – hence, perfectly playing the role of a damsel from the 20s.

We couldn’t help but notice the image of early Indian movie star Devika Rani, an actress who best represented that era, in the background screen during the show. The designers certainly made sure that even the littlest details were in place regarding the theme of the collection.
The mother daughter pair themselves looked elegant in their chosen wear for the event. Neeta Lulla was dressed in all black in an achkan style suit. A pair of black platform peep toes completed her ensemble. Nishka Lulla went in for a pretty pink colored dress that ended at the ankles. She paired matching dainty sandals with the outfit. Her hair cascaded down her shoulder on one side in curls. She also carried a clutch which totally blended with her outfit. Junior Ms Lulla looked quite the model herself.
The camaraderie between the three ladies couldn’t be missed when they posed for photos together.
