Bruno Mars to do community service for Drug Possession

Just the Way You Are hitmaker Bruno Mars has managed to avoid jail in connection to his felony account of dug possession. The R&B star was arrested in Las Vegas last year when a bathroom attendant allegedly found him with a bag of cocaine.

The charge could have landed him a jail sentence of 4 years and a $50,000 fine but Mars managed to strike a plea deal. Now, the 25-year-old is required to do community service, undergo 8 hours of counseling and pay a fine of a mere $2,000. The charge will be wiped off from his record if Mars managed to stay out of trouble for the next one year.
