A new mom, Doutzen Kroes pleasantly surprised everyone when she appeared in a red gown with a really long train at the recent MET Gala night.
The red Tulle gown from the Giambattista Valli Fall 2011 collection, was a little dramatic and perhaps a better choice at the runway than the red carpet event.

The gown in itself was lovely – a structured fitted bodice swelling into a voluminous dotted skirt, hugged the models curvaceous body at all the right places.
Doutzen kept her look simple – with a loosely tied bun and nude make up. She wore no jewellery, perhaps to emphasise on the gown.
We feel that her look was a little too strict and perhaps an open hair style or some colour would have done wonders to the overall look.
