Lady Gaga is planning to open a line of pop-up gift shops for the coming festive season.
The eccentric singer will tie up with Barneys New York and her designer friend Nicola Formichetti to bring holiday shoppers a range of Gaga-style gifts.
The pop-up store will be called Gaga’s Workshop and will feature toys, books, CDs, sweets and make-up items.
Mark Lee, CEO of Barneys New York, said that Gaga perfectly represented the spirit of the season, and that she spread the message of individuality, positivity and universality in a way that is easily understood and accepted by today’s generation.
He talked about Gaga’s pop-up shop and how it would include things that fans of all ages could enjoy, and that existing and new customers would find some fun gifts for their family and friends.
The shop will launch in November and stay open until January.
