TV presenter Alexa Chung made an appearance at the NME Awards 2012 which were held at the O2 Academy Brixton in London on February 29.
She wore an adorable layered lace dress from the Valentino Pre-Fall 2012 collection. The patterned navy blue frock featured a sweetheart cut with a sheer neckline which was accentuated by a pretty black bow. A slim black belt cinched the waist in, while the short flirty skirt cut to well above her knees showed off her shapely legs.
She covered them up with black stockings though – spring hasn’t quite made its way to London yet so those tights are a stylish way to keep warm.
Alexa also wore a camel grey overcoat which she removed once she entered the venue.
Her front-combed dishevelled bangs matched her messy shoulder-length hair left loose and wayward, looking like she hadn’t put a comb through it at all. This type of soft messy hairstyle is pretty ‘in’ right now and it takes an effort to make it look naturally messy rather than purposefully so. So whoever did Alexa’s hair sure knew what they were doing.
Finally, she went with gorgeous cat’s eye makeup that made her blue eyes pop and her pout was perfected with the perfect shade of pink lipstick.
