Model and actress Christie Brinkley hosted the 2012 Smile Train World Smile Day at Times Square Famiglia Pizzeria in New York City, New York on October 5.
Smile Train is a non-profit organisation that aims at sending aid to underprivileged children across the world who are born with clefts. Cleft surgery can make a huge difference to the quality of their lives, and Smile Train has benefited hundreds of thousands of children since the initiative began in 1999.
Christie has been a long and ardent supporter of Smile Train, always bringing her best to any promotional events so that they can raise as much money as possible.
The big-hearted blonde sported a sober but smart ensemble for the event. She donned a draped grey top with blue boot-cut jeans, pairing the outfit with a sharp blue blazer. Black boots by Christian Louboutin, a statement gold necklace with matching earrings, icy plum lips and A-lister-style wavy hair completed her look.
