Whipcord
 

 Whipcord is a strong fabric with a diagonal round cords which can also be produced in wool.



Gauze
 

 Gauze is a sheer, lightly woven fabric. Is also made in silk.

Organdy
 

Organdy is a very thin and transparent cotton with a crisp finish.


Oxford
 

 Oxford is shirting fabric with a lustrous and soft finish. Characterized with narrow stripes, can be woven in plain or basket weave. Also a term used for wool fabric that has black and white fibers.


 


Diaper Cloth
 

Diaper Cloth is a dobby, twill, or plain woven absorbent cotton

Flannel
 

 

Flannel cotton is plain or twill weave with a slight nap on one or both sides

Dimity
 

 

Dimity is sheer, thin, white or printed fabric with lengthwise stripes, cords, or checks

Gingham
 

 

 Gingham is a washable, lightweight,stout fabric that is woven in plaids,checks or stripes.

Lawn
 

 

Lawn is a soft, very light, plain weave,combed cotton fabric with a crisp finish.

Drill
 

Drill is a strong twilled cotton fabric, used in men’s and women’s slacks


 Duck
 

 Duck is a tightly woven, heavy and durable  fabric. Heavy weight drill is used in tents, awnings,etc. Lighter duck is used in summer clothing.

 


  Flannelette
 

 

Flannelette is a very soft cotton fabric with a nap on one side.
