Country singer Joe Nichols and his wife Heather welcomed their first daughter into the world on Tuesday. They have named her Dylan River Nichols.
The couple wed in 2007 and this is their first child together although Nichols has another daughter from a prior relationship.
Heather posted on Nichols’ website that their prayers had finally been answered after years of heartbreak and loss. She thanked everyone for their thoughts, well wishes and prayers and also the medical team who helped them through their journey.
Nichols himself added that they had been trying to have a baby for several years and now that she was finally here, baby Dylan would not be taken for granted.
