Jessica Simpson’s long-awaited baby is finally here – the singer-turned-fashion-designer welcomed daughter Maxwell Drew Johnson into the world on May 1.
According to TMZ.com, Simpson’s sister Ashlee and her mother Tina were both on hand at the time. UsMagazine.com reports that the baby weighed in at 9 pounds and 3 ounces.
The news of Simpson’s pregnancy was confirmed last Halloween after her expanding waist line sparked speculation. This is the first baby for both Simpson and footballer hubby Eric Johnson.
