The 37th Annual Gracie Awards Gala held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles, California on May 22 drew a bevy of beauties who showed off several takes on the humble bun.
Kerri Kasem sports a flamboyant bun with so much texture and life that you would be forgiven for mistaking it for a funky ponytail. It reminds you of a messy 60s beehive – very Bohemian.
Francia Raisa goes elegant with an uber-chic curly bun. The hair on the crown has been given a bit of a bouffant instead of being pulled back tight. This makes her look even more feminine and sophisticated.
Deb Carson’s messy bun is fun, youthful and wild. The grown-out bangs combed down the sides of her face is a good call as it softens her features considerably and balances out the slight messiness of the bun.
Marlee Matlin chose to style her auburn hair in a side-swept, relaxed bun that reminds you of a chignon but with less of a formal quality. We love the practicality, simplicity and style of this one. It can be worn on a daily basis with almost any outfit.
