Body Types

The Rectangle Body Type / Lymphatic / Banana

The Rectangle body shape is more or less straight, both, up and down.

This body shape has nearly the same measurement for shoulders and hips. The measurement for waist lies close to the measurement for hips and bust. Women belonging to this body-type have long legs to flaunt.

The shape is very much similar to the hourglass shape, but for the waist-line which is less defined.

This body-shape lies close to a boyish shape. The problem area for women who have rectangle body shape is their waistline. They need to create an illusion of a well-defined waistline.
They can also get closer to the hourglass shape by doing so.

If this is your body type then select clothes that can draw attention towards your waist. By doing so you will make it appear narrower than the shoulders and hips. The waist will appear more defined. This way you can also add curves to your body.

Colors like purple, red and pinks add charm to Paris Hilton’s look.

* Wear low-waist bottoms. Make sure that your skirt, jeans and trousers fall below the waistline.

* Team your top with gathered skirts that fall below your waist-line.

* You can look for wrap-dresses that tie around the waist and give your waist a prominent look .

* You can wear belted-clothes to highlight your waist-line. Just be sure that you are wearing the narrower ones.

* Wear Boat necks and Sweetheart necklines.

* Garments with frills and ruffles will make you look more feminine by making you appear more curvaceous.

* Choose clothes that will highlight the curves of your body.

* To enhance your bust-size and make your appearance more curvaceous, you can wear clothes with padded seams at the top.

* Avoid huge belts around your waist as they can make your waist appear flatter.

* Avoid tight-fitting dresses that can highlight your lack of curves.
