“11th Bridal asia exhibition”
New Delhi is going to host the 11 th edition of The Bridal Asia exhibition this year. The exhibition will be held at Ashoka hotel from September 9 to 21.
The designers participating in the event include big names like Rina Dhaka, Siddartha Tytler, Taandon, Pallavi Jaikishan, Prashant Verma, Nikki Mahajan, Anjalee and Arjun Kapoor, Falguni and Shane Peacock. Jewellery designers like Notandas and Sons, Falguni Mehta, Sangeeta Javeri, etc will dazzle the exhibition with their latest collection. Accessories and handbag designers like, Malini Agarwalla and Sonali Dalwani will also unveil their collections.
Bridal Asia founder Divya Gurwara, insists that weddings make for a recession-proof industry and people don't mind splurging for good designs. "I have always believed that wedding is a recession-proof industry.," maintained Gurwara.
The Indian wedding market is supposed to estimate an astronomical amount of about Rs.500-600 billion, with an annual growth of 15 percent.
Gurwara believes the exhibition to be a real success. He said, "We have got many international buyers for this event as they too like the quality of products that we offer to people."
