Textronics Inc. has introduced new sports apparels that are inbuilt with the technology that will monitor our heartbeats and collect information about our hear rate, respiration, and body temperature. A textile based electrode system with a sensor has been built into the garments that receive bio-physiological signals from the user. There are special, conductive, sensing fibers are stretchable and are woven in the chest area of the shirt. These sensors collect information and transmits through a small GPRS embedded to a compatible wristwatch that is attached to a pocket in the garment. These garments are, undoubtedly, the best possible replacement over the chest straps that could slip, get loose and irritate the body.They are priced between $50 to $59 US Dollars.
They are reusable and washable just like all your garments. People with heart problems, athletes, bionic women can all use it.
The company has also introduced a number of garments under the brand name, NuMetrex Fitness Apparels, such as Heart sensing sports bra, Heart sensing racer tank and Cardio shirt for men. Sports bra are also inbuilt with this health regulatory system. Textronics Inc.has also been awarded the patent by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office.

A small transmitter slipped into the pocket in the bra sends data and other information to a monitor. It is washable and quick to dry. It has a specific heart beat monitor with calorie counter that gives immediate feedback and transmit information in a lightening speed.
