Work Stress is bad for women’s heart

Women who are stressed out with their jobs are 40% more likely to suffer from cardiovascular diseases than counterparts in less stressful jobs. Researchers at Women’s Hospital, Boston, studied 17,415 women and deduced the conclusion that work stress can significantly increase the risk of having a heart attack or a blocked artery.

Other work-related conditions like job insecurity also contributed to the onset of heart diseases.
