In one of the highly anticipated shows at the the Lakme Fashion Week 2015, ace designer Anamika Khanna brought in Bollywood beauty, Kareena Kapoor Khan to walk the ramp for her show which she entitled ‘Sculpt’. The world renowned designer displayed her creation on 22nd March, the day of the grand finale of the Lakme Fashion Week Summer Resort 2015, Mumbai.

Anamika’s collection was a play of contrast, wherein she played around with her idea of Sculpt. It was a play of subtle contrasts, of structure with fluidity, of heavy with light and of construction with deconstruction.
The stunning design displayed by Kareena Kapoor Khan was in tones of black, ivory and silver. The black blouse was elaborately decorated with silver zardosi and thread embroidery while fluidity was brought in to this heavy structured blouse through the draping of the skirt. The thin shawl draped around Kareena’s shoulder having brought further movement to the overall design.

The make-up and styling was done by Lakmé makeup expert Natasha Nischol. She gave Kareena’s lips a dark wine color with a matte finish which brought about a seductive intensity to the look. Her hair was given a sleek, side parted up-do. A beautiful pair of big chandelier earrings and stilettos completed the look.
A pro when it comes to playing muse to designers, it cannot be denied that Kareena breathed life into Anamika’s artistic imagination. Confidence and elegance came naturally to Kareena as she sashayed down the ramp like a gentle breeze, leaving the audience spellbound and in awe!
