White definitely defines purity and substance and it completely took to its definition at the red carpet of the “British Soap Awards 2011”.
It seemed like the entire valley of Greek Goddesses had come down to grace the award function with their presence. From full length gowns to simple blouses and short dresses, white ruled and took to its number one position against the usual black choice.
Charley Webb : White dress with plunging neckline
The extremely beautiful and talented Charley Webb chose a white number with a plunging neck line and symmetrical drapes in the bottom. Her divine sense of style and beauty was utterly captivating.
Stephanie Davis : One shoulder white gown
Following on the same note, Stephanie Davis opted for an absolutely stunning one shoulder full length gown. Her celestial looks and extreme Greek styling literally made her nothing less than Goddess of innate beauty.
Sophie Powles : White top
Going a little off the track but yet maintaining the white element, Sophie Powles opted for a subtle grunge look. This 22-year-old lass was dressed in a white sleeveless top with black shorts and thigh high stocking . She made a rough and tough statement by combining black and white and pulling it off with sheer excellence.
Jessie Wallace : Halterneck white gown
Jessie Wallace brought in grace and sophistication in a white halter floor length gown. Her perfectly chiseled features brought about a heavenly look with her minimum yet effective styling. The white ensemble gave her body structure the right fall and poise.
Jessica Forrest: White dress
In contrast to age and grace, we got to see the virtuousness and naïve elements in Jessica Forrest’s white sleeveless Frock Dress. She looked like a little angel with those frilly socks and black peep toes. The innocent school girl look worked wonders for this upcoming actress and she definitely made it a point to get noticed.
Kelsey-Beth Crossley: White gown
The 18-year-old lead cast of the ITV soap opera “Emmerdale” made subtle move with a floor length gown with emphasis on the shoulders. Her makeup was bare minimum which only defined the beauty in simplicity. The interesting gathers at the centre of the ensemble made it quite fascinating.
Alice Barlow : White dress
The young and beautiful Alice Barlow opted for a chic white short dress with the upper half done in a kirigami kind of a pattern which looked pretty remarkable and impressive. The puffy hairdo and nude pumps looked utterly modish. Alice looked confident and comfortable in carrying out her stylish white number.
This was one night where the white dominated over the black and gave such an impressive result. All the women looked absolutely stunning and hot in the white numbers. We will definitely look out for more delightful surprises like these in the future award functions
