Fall Winter- 2009/2010

Make-Up Trends

This Fall-Winter 2009/2010 mix and match subtle with the bold and vice verse for a complete and trendy look. You may use bright hues for your lips and keep the eye shadow natural or closer to the skin hues. You may have shimmering bright eyes with pale lip colors, eyebrows and cheeks. Balance is the key word. Balance the bright and the matt and use one as a highlighter to over do the other. Keep the feature that you want to flaunt, dark and bright and make the best of your assets a focal point.

Skin Tone:

Matt skin is preferable, according to the runway this Fall Autumn/Winter 2009-10. Pale, smooth and clear skin, with it's natural tint is desirable as it acts as an apt background for the principle face distinctions between the eyes and the cheeks.

Cheeks:

The color for cheeks, this Autumn Winter 2009-2010, is all pink. Various tones of pink from pink-blue, carnation pinks, cherry blossom pinks to natural-tan hues may help you set the right winter mood.

Match the color of your blush to your eyes or your lips. The strokes must be applied in a way that the cheeks may appear stretched out.

Lips:

The color scheme for lips is again pink. The tones may range from violet, fuchsia, light pink to pale hues resembling the skin hues.

Wear matt lipsticks. This may help you emphasize your eyes more. Don't wear lip-glosses.

Red lips may not be apt ones for all occasions. Wear them at formal events for a classy look.

Eyes:

Eye make-up is in. Use a lot of eye make up and make it a focal point to fetch all the compliments.

Eye shadows in pink or purple should be more emphasized and attention grabbing. Eye-shadows may range from smoky tones to naked ones.

Long eye lashes are not so in. So, avoid wearing the fake ones. Instead, use a dark shaded pencil at the corner of the eye line and make your eyes appear bigger.

Say no to thin, narrow shapes you get your eyebrows done into. This season, thick eyebrows are trendy and bold.

Wear make up in the hues that suit your skin tone. All colors may not play the right note for you. Jut wear the apt ones and set the mercury high this chilling winters by your haute, playful and cheerful looks.
