Singer Toni Braxton was admitted to a hospital in Los Angeles after her immune system began shutting down. She suffered painful flare-ups as a result of Lupus – an auto-immune disorder which attacks the healthy tissue in the body.
However, Braxton told TMZ.com that she would be fine, and that all she needed was to get some rest. The Unbreak My Heart singer also thanked her fans for their support. She said the reason she was talking to the website was so that she could clear the air before all sorts of rumors started. She re-confirmed that she would be absolutely fine with the help of her family’s strong support.
Braxton also has microvascular angina. She opened up about her battle with Lupus in 2011.
