Karl Lagerfeld with “The Legion of Honour” award
Fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld was honored with “The Legion of Honour” award by the French President Nicolas Sarkozy at the Elysée presidential palace. Sarkozy appreciated the designer’s contribution to the fashion industry and his design ethic.
Lagerfeld credit the award to all the people who appreciated his work. Without their support it would have not been possible. He said the award was not only his but also belongs to all.
