We’ve featured nifty dresser Pippa Middleton on our pages dozens of times. But her famous sister, Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, is no stranger to fashionable attire. Take a look at the royal beauty’s uber smart outfit as she visited the Rose Hill Primary School in Oxford on February 21.
The 30-year-old donned a beautifully tailored wool jacquard coat dress with full-length sleeves, a knee-length skirt, and large brown buttons on the bodice. She paired this dove-patterned brown outfit with brown ankle boots by Aquatalia by Marvin K. and a pair of brown stockings.
Catherine’s hairstyle for this visit resembled the style that her sister often favors – side parted and casually swept over one shoulder. The lovely brunette preferred to go natural with her makeup with just the slightest hint of color on her lips and cheeks along with her patent eye liner.
Here’s an interesting anecdote about the dress. Designed by Orla Kiely and priced at £325, the Birdie shirt dress completely sold out mere minutes after the Duchess was spotted in it. A spokesperson for the label revealed that their website came close to crashing with the flood of people wanting to buy the dress at the exact same time.
