Hollywood star Sandra Bullock, who has been riding high on the success of her movie Gravity – released last year, was recently seen making quite a colorful appearance. The actress was spotted at the Palm Springs Film Festival Gala at the Palm Springs Convention Center, and we love the look that she presented.
The Clothes: The brunette beauty chose a color blocked outfit from Alex Perry in candy colors – namely, pink and orange. The cute combination acted like an elixir of youth – not that the stunner needs the latter! It certainly added an element of fun to Bullock’s red carpet ensemble and was quite an interesting choice for the event.

The pretty shift dress in pink just about grazed past the knee and had exquisite detailed work in lace and sheer net – around the neck.
The Accessories: The ensemble stylization was kept simple – which let one focus on the dress, which anyways was the piece de resistance. Over accessorization would have killed the style by making it look over the top, therefore we like the way the stunner kept everything else subtler.

The Speed star carried a Jimmy Choo purse in metallic gold, which couldn’t have been more different than what she wore – a smart choice. The nude Brian Atwood stiletto pumps, with its lengthening illusion, made Sandra’s legs look longer. The only piece of jewelry worn was the solitaires that adorned her ears.
The Hair and Makeup: The A-lister, who is apparently slated for an Oscar nomination this year for the role of best actress, left her hair down in a ramrod straight and sleek style. The hairstyle featured a side parting and one side of the tresses was kept neatly tucked behind her ears.

The makeup featured pastel shades of pink. A touch of rosy blush on the apple of the cheeks and a nude pink shade of lipstick made the face look fresh and cheerful. The subtle smokey eye makeup highlighted her pretty peepers – without looking like too much of makeup.
