It’s the beauty debate of the ages. Is blonde hair lovelier or is darker hair more alluring? Blondes have more fun but there are plenty of brunettes who have just as much of a ball. Hollywood is filled with blondes trying to get their hair darker and brunettes going lighter. We suppose that’s because the grass is always greener on the other side, but still there has to be more going on than just that. Let’s take a closer look at these two hair colors and see what everyone goes gaga about.
Hair Color Poll – Blonde vs Brunette
Blonde locks have a sultry innocence to them, the combination both titillating and a lot of fun. There’s a light, heavenly vibe to the sunny hues of all blondes which makes them appear full of life and love, which are attributes that are incredibly easy to fall in love with. No wonder then that celebs looking for a new look resorts to blonde highlights or dyeing their hair fully blonde.
As for darker hair, it imparts more substance to any look. And it undoubtedly also throws in a huge dollop of mystery, maybe as an inherent quality of the color or maybe because of cultural conditioning. Whatever the reason, brown or black hair appears to be more empowering and adds depth to an avatar. You’ll notice that celebs trying to redefine themselves as serious artists, actors or entertainers tend to dye their hair brown, so there definitely is something behind that theory.
We don’t think this debate will ever be resolved. There’s something seriously sexy about blonde hair and wonderfully alluring about darker hair colors. Which one would you pick?
