She is one of the most famous faces of Indian fashion and always has something for everybody. So when Neeta Lulla gave a preview of her bridal collection at her flagship store in Mumbai, India on October 5, 2013, everyone wanted to get in and get a dekko.

The designer looked all set to take on the media and the attention on her big day. She was relaxed, calm and confident in a men’s style kurta pyjama with a sleeveless blue jacket. A statement necklace, flesh tone peep toes and a few finger rings completed her look.

Shutterbugs just couldn’t get enough as Neeta took them on a walk around the store and talked about her new bridal collection. With the onset of bridal season, she said she has brides-to-be coming in by appointment only to get a first look at what she has to offer.

The collection is jaw-dropping – anarkalis, saris and lehenga cholis in a variety of cuts, styles and colors with different types of embroidery, stone work, Swarovski crystals and zardozi. Neeta said that there are outfits for both the modern bride as well as one that wants to remain traditional. She offered options for day wear, reception and sangeets too.

She also showcased a processed kanjeevaram fabric that she had used for some of her lehenga cholis. The new kanjeevaram is not as heavy and thus presents the wearer with a comfortable, viable option for any wedding event.
Bollywood actress Rhea Chakraborty, Sameera Reddy and TV actress Shweta Salve were also at the preview. Sameera rocked a floral jumpsuit which Rhea sported a hot monochrome cropped top with a high-waist blue maxi skirt. Shweta too went monochrome, wearing a patterned dress with a green belt sitting on her hips.
