Actress Rooney Mara has been a joy to behold on the red carpet. And here she is again turning heads at the Arlington Theater in Santa Barbara where she was attending the 27th Annual Santa Barbara International Film Festival on February 3.
She looks as lovely as ever thanks to not just her gorgeous bottle green dress from the Louis Vuitton Pre-Fall 2012 Collection but also her incredibly sassy slicked back low ponytail.
Her black hair was first given a defined parting on the right, and then combed down to give it a sleek look. The hair was then pulled back into a low ponytail and held in place by nothing more than a black rubber band.
The dress is a modern-retro fusion, and the simple slicked back hairdo pays tribute to both styles while maintaining an edge of its own. The no-fuss aspect of it makes it easy to create and maintain, meaning that it is the simplest and most chic hairstyle for work or play.
