August 31, 2012 by benaifer

The first day of the 69th Annual Venice Film Festival was the bomb! The opening ceremony coincided with the premiere of “The Reluctant Fundamentalist” at the Palazzo del Cinema in Venice, Italy on August 29, drawing gorgeous women in opulent outfits to dazzle on the red carpet.

Versace was a popular choice at this glamorous do. Italian actress Isabella Ferrari wore a number from the Spring 2012 collection – a stunning silver dress with a sheer, embroidered overlay.

Isabella FerrariSparkling peep-toes and diamond jewellery accessorized her look. Really, no one does tasteful style quite like the Italians.

Fiammetta Cicogna wowed in a white princess gown by Alberta Ferretti.

Fiammetta CicognaThe chiffon dress boasted white lace on a nude bodysuit, and a full skirt to boot. She kept her hair and makeup simple, also accessorizing plainly with dangle earrings and a silver clutch purse. The drama of this outfit speaks for itself.

Italian actress and showgirl Valeria Marini showed off her style sense and toned body in a busty silver halter-neck go which was backless, low-cut and had a thigh-high split trailing off into a short train.

Valeria MariniThat’s a lot of skin, and why not? She as one of the hottest women on the red carpet that evening, not to mention one of the most glamorous as well.
