Steele Inc, a family owned enterprise has developed a ‘cooling vest’ designed to be worn under garments. It is a perfect solution to beat the heat, be it the hot weather or while working in high temperature environments.
Features of the vest:
- The “Cool Undervest” absorbs heat via four frozen gel thermostrips, attached under the vests and provide cooling for a period of 2-3 hours at a stretch. These thermostrips can be reused, once they are frozen again.
- It can be used in situations where workers work under extreme temperatures, construction sites, chemical and industrial plants, and even under formal or casual attires.
- The “Cool Undervest”is made from flame-retardant cotton and is durable and washable. Four side tabs along with adjuster clips ensure a comfortable fit for all. It weighs between 2-5 kg.
- Since the thermostrip cooling packs are water-based, they have a high latent heat capacity, are non-toxic and can be frozen repeatedly without degradation.
