Prepare for 8 weeks of terror! Ekta Kapoor is planning to unleash another serial on Indian TV audiences, but this time with a supernatural twist. The creative head and producer of Balaji Telefilms unveiled a new show “Ek Thi Nayika” at Hotel JW Marriott in Juhu, Mumbai on March 4.

Ek thi Nayika is primarily meant to promote Ek thi Dayan, an upcoming thriller produced by Ekta and Vishal Bhardwaj.
Ekta has come up with an innovative way to drum up interest in the film. Ek Thi Nayika will feature 8 episodes with stand-alone, unconnected stories, each featuring a famous face from Indian television in the lead role. The stories will be high on suspense and, like Ek thi Dayan, will have paranormal undertones.

The cast of the show were at the launch too. Shweta Tiwari, Sakshi Tanwar, Kritika Kamra, Aamna Sharif, Pooja Gaur and Mauli Ganguly – all popular faces from Ekta’s previous and current TV shows – appeared thrilled to be a part of this new type of marketing strategy.
