Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan launched the trailer of “Kochadaiiyaan” in Mumbai, India on March 30, 2014. Accompanying him were his wife Jaya Bachchan, his daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Aishwarya’s mother Brinda Rai.

Aishwarya was seen in a black anarkali suit with pink and off-white embroidery. The Pankaj and Nidhi outfit looked superb on her (what doesn’t) but we’d have liked to see her in something other than her patent anarkalis. She accessorized with black patent peep toes and jhumka earrings, styling her look with glossy pink lips and cat’s eye makeup that was very heavy on both mascara and eye liner.

Also at the event was Bollywood actress Kajol who calls herself Rajnikanth’s biggest fan. Kajol wore an ensemble by Purvi Doshi.

Her top was an off-white, full-sleeved blouse with cut-out detailing just below the collar. The cutout was accentuated by charm detailing. Her bottoms were simply dreamy – a pair of loose-fitting printed pants with gold-sequinned peacock motifs making quite the splash!

Her hair was styled in loose curls and she rounded out her look with darkly-kohled eyes and a very strong red lippie. We’re not too keen on the latter – it made her look old.

Tamil superstar Rajijnikanth, the star of the movie, was accompanied by his wife Latha and his daughter Soundarya. Kochadaiiyaan is made with motion capture technology and is directed by Soundarya. The film stars Deepika Padukone opposite Rajnikaanth.

Other celebs who came to show their support included Kunal Roy Kapur, Anupam Kher, Govind Nihalini, Neeta Lulla and Ramesh Sippy.
